DAMN....I HATE SNAKES!!!

Remember 'Xiao Hei' the cat?
He is getting more and more 'manja' lately.. he will try every little chances he has to slip into my house...

Anyway, in case you don't know, cats have the ability to sense and protect us from dangerous creatures like snakes..

Last Sunday evening, we were in the backyard trying to care for our baby papaya trees..

Then 'Xiao Hei' is acting weird as he kept on looking into the drain for long time.. and he did not move... not like his usual self, very active running around...

Something strange is going on.. we took a second look at the direction 'Xiao Hei' is looking at....

OMG!!...... we were taken aback when we realised there is a black snake hanging there in the drain...!!!

You can't identify the snake as it is camouflaged perfectly in the drain... if it is not of the cat, we won't notice that as it is not clear also when I tried to take a photoshoot at it...

As we took a closer view... darn... the snake is no joke BIG...

As terrified as we were...I ran back into the house and called the 'Bomba' to come catch snake before it came nearer or hurt us...

As we were watching the movement of the snake... the snake saw us and crawl up to the bushes beside the drain (in red circle)... the snake is in perfect disguised!!!!

The snake just crawled around the bushes... *I felt very geli looking at it...holding a rod, scared at the same time, wondering if it will come closer..*

**Naughty 'Xiao Hei' kept on miao-ing non stop...**

Luckily the Bomba came very fast, around 8 mins... 2 Bomba members came in with the snake catching equipments..

The ahli Bomba fought with the snake expertly and swiftly caught the snake by its head... pheww...
**urghhhh..... the snake very geli laaahh**

The ahli Bomba did not wear the protective gloves when he fight with the snake and just left the glove on the ground...

While he is holding the snake... the snake fights back and bites his ring finger!!!!

He quickly put the snake into the bag and tied the bag up...

Then he quickly washed his fingers in the basin and sucked the blood out himself.. I opened a new 'Dettol' sabun for him to use...

He told me "Tu ular senduk... berbisa tu..."

Then I asked him "are you ok?" he said 'ok'... he doesn't seem worried or nervous because he is bitten by a venomous snake.... -____-

Maybe he is really a snake catcher expert...

They quickly take the geli snake out.... very much to my relief!!!!!

I kept telling them... thank you very much arr..thank you.. thank you....

They are really my heroes...!!!

"Bye bye!!! thank you arr... terima kasih yaaa.... byebye...!!" as I waved goodbye to the 2 ahli Bomba that helped me to catch the very-geli-snake...

Thanks to 'Xiao Hei' too, for saving our lifes.. if he did not tell us about the snake.... we might be bitten or worse still the snake might crawl into the house without us knowing!!!!
Thinking about that make me fill up with goosebumps...

So that evening, 'Xiao Hei' got himself rewarded with a delicious hotdog for dinner =)

And the next day, we bought the 'yellow sulfur' and sprinkled all around our house to keep out of this poisonous creatures....

****I was wondering what is 'ular senduk' and how poisionous it is, after I checked Googles... I felt more goosebumps... becoz it is a cobra.... ****
