No respect for History.

Malaysia Independence Day is 16 September 1963.

31 August 1957 is only Malaya Independence Day.

Why we kept ignoring the true history and celebrating 31 August every year?!

Malaysia cannot even respect the history facts and dates, not respecting Sabah and Sarawak either, what's in for 1Malaysia??!?!!

It's just another stupid gimmicks from the government...!!! I dare him for another 20 years, nothing will change for the better. If there is improvement, it should be long time ago...

Just a simple question, if your birthday falls on 1st January, do you want to celebrate it on 1st January or 1st March?

Malaysia--> Shame on you!

Damn Government!!!

Damn!!! The greedy government revised the income tax formula and increased our tax deduction every month !!!!! Those are my hard-earned money!!!

Our government got nothing better to do than always think of ways to eat our money out!

This year when government has no more money, the clever government then announced alot of ASM and Wawasan said to have higher interest rate than the banks and influenced the people to invest in their ASM.

And says only clever people will know the benefit of ASM and invest on it....Very good offer from government ... to show the government really takes care us....

Is that really so?

To Government: You think we are still idiots after living under your 'superior ruling' for years?

Every month got new ASM coming out, everytime have to put in RM10k-RM20k in order to be more worthy of the investment... you really think your citizens have so much money that every month can fork out RM10k to invest in your ASMs so that you can proudly 'borrow money' to use all you like and still tell your people you are sucha good government?!

Now your 1Malaysia ASM has no more supporters and your people has no more money to give you.....has your 1Malaysia ASM policy failed?

Clever Government, nobody gives something for nothing, which includes you.

Build less secret bangalows, buy less government luxury cars, less corruption, offer less import duties, care more on our environment, provide better public transportation, and you will get more respect....

Or you haven't finish counting all the cash you received from your people income taxes and ASM?!

Kuching Annual Festival 古晋节 2009

This is Kuching Festival 2009, organized annually starting every August. Has been quite few years I did not visit Kuching Festival, so this time, I am back in town =)

I always love to visit Kuching Festival because there are so many things to see, just name a few and I am sure you can find it here... A lot of businesses are trying to promote their products here because Kuching Festival attracts huge crowds every night...

Food and beverages are always popular here.

You can find all sorts of different and new food around with very reasonable price.

Since when Kuching is popular for 'fried bird'?! Not a nice name though, looks like some sort of foul words...Maybe can give it a try though since there are quite many people queue up for it...

One thing I love about my hometown so much..... pork is everywhere =)
You no need to segregate yourself in an abandoned corner selling pork or eat pork at a separated area in case you contaminate other non-halal food...

So now the 'Imperial Duck' or 'Imperial Soup' is no more halal because the stall is beside the pork stall.......hahahaaaa..

See the Kuching crowds.... this is so called sardine packed... good business huh..

Ohhh yahhh .... we don't hide ourselves too, when we wanna sell beer =)
Drink Carlsberg all you can... in the public... no halal restriction whatsoever...

Gingerbread...!! Something rare locally... worth a try ;)

Oohh.... Spiderman in town!!!! heheheee....

The food here must be delicious...... huge crowds waiting for their food here...

Thai food here...Tomyam....mango rice... looks good... can have a try =)

KFC also wanna participate here in Kuching Festival..
Ohh...KFC selling satay?!

So many choices.... everything looks good.... hard to make a decision..

The Banquet -- this is our newest popular restaurant in town, famous for wedding dinner..

Even the rice is soughted after ?? !

They cook their so called 'beras wangi' on the spot for free sample eating...

Wahhh....2nd hand books also got.... 1-2 bucks you can buy some old books for your reading pleasure..

'Made in Japan' currently very 'hot' item sold in Kuching... even my mum is getting one...

Genuine Green tea anyone???! Come come!! Free sample...

Huhh... 'Renu' also can buy here in Kuching Festival... they are so desperate....

This guy is the owner of this stall I supposed.... he said he wants to be in the photo...

Mmmm... but he has already blocked half of the view...
-___-

Wahhh... a huge 'Fa Kuih' ... 1st time see sucha big one... and it is done so perfectly beautiful with the strawberry flavour...

I was about to ask how much is the 'Fa Kuih' when I realized that they are selling the stainless steel steamer...

Lucky.. or else... terribly embarrassed...

-_____-'''

Planning to buy a new car?? You can find all local and imported cars here for your pleasure.....

Aouuu... that's so cuteeeee.....

Hooo... Penang Har Mee... Jin Ho Liao!!!! Come come!!!! Try some Har Mee here... !!!!

Taiwanese Tzu Chi Buddhist Association is also here!!!! Goshhh....
Reminder from Tzu Chi:

-- 2 things cannot wait. 1. Be Filial. 2. Kindness Contribution

-- Don't look down on yourself because you can make everything possible.

And I love this one. You will not progress by giving yourself all sorts of lame excuses ..!!

A good night sleep.... I need it badly...

Singapore product.

Said as a product mixed with purple rice and different beans together and can make you very healthy... try some? It's free...

The perfect gorgeous night view of MBKS with the new man-made lake.. glittering of beautiful lights everywhere...

Performance stage on the new man-made lake in MBKS, decorated extensively beautiful for Kuching Festival 2009...

We have also invited some local singers and dancers to perform on stage, successfully attracts a big crowd to watch the performances..

An attractive night view from far with the trees lighted up, welcoming people to Kuching Festival...

My Little 'Ling Kim' tree...

After my papaya trees growing up healthy and strong.... I start to love gardening and grow some local fruit trees in my backyard..

The other day, I keep all the seeds from the 'Ling Kim' that I ate...
"Ling Kim' is a direct translation from Hokkien, some people call it the Buddha fruit because the physical look is like the Buddha's head or in Malay, it is well known as 'Buah Nona'..

Then we clean a small piece of the backyard, wet the soil, dig 2 rows and plant all the seeds inside... After cover the seeds within, we sprinkle water on top to make it moist enough...

After 1 month ++... Tah Dahhhh!!!!!! My 'Ling Kim' trees grow up liao... =)

They are so beautiful, with very green leaves and sturdy looking...

My 'Ling Kim' trees looks so fresh and healthy from top... hehee....

Looking forward to my future 'Ling Kim'.. must be very sweet.... And very healthy too.. because is home grown style.. :)

What '5 years' means to me..

Just receive an email from my company... saying that I have work in this company for 5 years and I can choose my 5 years service award gift...

A lot of people must feel so proud and happy to have receive their service award... I thought I should be too.

But when I read this email, I said to myself... woww.. I have worked here for 5 years... 5 years is very long to me... I have never thought I will stay here for 5 years... but I am still here...pathetic...

There are a lot of mixed feelings within, I don't know how to describe....

This place and this work is definitely not my dream, there is a sudden knock on my head, hey...I should be out there working on my dreams and visions and the things I want to do...

I know, I need to move on with my life...

I know, I need to find back my courage...
