靈魂跟不上我们了。。。‏lost soul...

在某处，我读了这篇文章。。。非常有意思叻，与每位还在忙碌的朋友们分享， 停一下你的脚步，想一下你真正要的是什么。。




有一支西方的考察隊深入非洲腹地考察， 請了當地部落的土著人做背伕和嚮導。

由於時間緊，需趕路， 而這些土著人很吃苦耐勞，背著幾十公斤的裝備物資依然健步如飛， 一連三天考察隊都很順利地按計劃行進，大家都很開心。

可是第四天早上，考察隊準備出發的時候， 土著人們都在休息不走了，好說歹說就是不願出發。

就休息一下嘛~~~~

隊員們很奇怪了，這幾天大家相處得很好啊， 是不小心觸犯了他們還是要坐地加錢？

這時，土著人的頭領解釋道， 按照他們的傳統，如果連續三天趕路，第四天必須停下來休息一天， 以免我們的靈魂趕不上我們的腳步。

這個現代人也許看來很難理解的解釋，讓我很受觸動。

我們的生活太忙碌了，工作和生活的壓力讓我們日復一日地在趕路，还是赶路。。 以至於我們很少停下來思考一下，就不斷地被很多東西推著走， 或者追逐著眼前的東西而去。。。

而我們的靈魂呢。。却早已落後在我們匆匆趕路的身影後面，無影無蹤。

沒有了自己，我們的生活就交給了外物去控制。

我們是不是也该放緩腳步，等一等我們的靈魂？

If I quit my job now..

I am kinda exhausted working already.....always dreamt of temporarily taking off for a period to recharge and refresh myself.. I don't know how long I can continue working like this....

But with today's bad economy.. can I really do that? Or after I have no job... I would have to join them..... -__-

Pig's feet is now said as the cheapest, latest and greatest anti-ageing superfood!! Woow.. never know that one day the pig's feet will be upgraded to be in the superfood list!





Pig's feet is only well known in Asia region, specifically in Chinese and Philippines delicacies...

Pig's feet are considered very disgusting to the western world..





Bluueerrrrkkkkkk.....it's the pig's feet!!!! Look at the fine wrinkles on her face... her face might look alot smoother if she finish up the pig's feet... heheee

And is a serious taboo to muslim world...say NO to pigs....

Now that it has been proven on its anti-ageing value, would the pig's feet fans population grows?

See the aunty so happily choosing her delicious looking Pig feet for dinner later...hmmm her face looks smooth too.. it must be becoz of the pig's feet collagen!! :)

Ohh..nyammmm...nyammm...looks just so tempting to try...pig feet with Siam rice....heavenly... =)

A world that is never fair..

After working for a so called big high tech company for more than 4 years, I feel purely disappointed & become more and more mentally inbalance when I actually see for myself so many unfairness happening around, and is only getting worse and worse .. no signs of getting better....

All the political stuff happening around is really making me uncomfortable.. * vomit *....

All the things we learn in school, all the values and moral, are just useless.

If you wanna be fired quick, just follow all the good morals you learn in school will do.

Our parents always say: Study hard, get good grades, go to University and you will have a bright future and earn a lot alot of money...

Study hard, have good grades... is that the true criteria to success??!

So..how to become a good employee with good prospect...this is what I have concluded..

1. When you are super good in talking.. using all the very sophisticated and advanced technical terms (which you yourself might not even understand what you are talking about), beat around the bushes, elaborate in very very 'understandable' explanation, talk long long... then your boss will think: Waaa... not bad arr this person... he knows so much, so technical... good good.. and the boss needs to nodd his head in agreement to show that he understands (although he actually don't understand a word.. he cannot show that he dunno a thing..) Since you are able to talk so much on so technical stuffs.. you must know a thing or two...so the boss will give you good propect.

2. When in all other presentations or discussions, you must have opinions and try your best to gain visibility although you are talking craps...fight for visibility!!! so that all people will know you exist in the organization. You must voice up and ask questions (must think of any questions.. dun care what kinda crap is that) as long as you ask questions.. you gain visibility.. bosses like that... he will think that: Waaa!! this employee got initiative to learn ler and dare to ask question somemore... good good.. always participate one...

3. When you know how to act and pretend you are very very super busy!! Every issue also need to wait for you to solve.. you are the super hero saving the world... you got thousands of meetings to attend (although you actually only have 1 meeting) you got so many phone calls, you have 100 emails to reply...all the people asking help from you... you are so hardworking you don't even have time for lunch...the company will go bankrupt without you.. Boss will like you so much, thinking that you are so diligent and you have solve so many issues (where you in fact do nothing at all)..

4. There are always 'good' employee that the boss luvp so much becoz they always back stab their peers and give internal information and rumors to their boss...they are the boss's antenna and the boss's 'buddy'.....and one day you come out from the 1 on 1 session looking like......... -__-"

So, beware of all the smiling knifes around you... or you can become one of them too!!

5. Also, there are a bunch of people that can only say "Yes, sir" to their boss. Whatever requests by the boss, professional or personal --> Yes, boss! or --> Me! me! I do.. I do... then the boss will be very proud and happy.... Whatever crap the boss is talking about --> Boss, you are so BRILLIANT!! We need to learn from you... or --> Boss, you so knowledgable!!! I support you... or --> Boss, your shirt today very nice arr...must be very expensive one...

Come!! Polish my shoes... make sure very 'kilat' one!!!!

Clean my ass, anyone?????? Me! meeeeeeee!!!!!!

Sad truth is that, these are the people that gets to climb up the ladder, earn big money, drive big car, live in big houses... and talks more crap...

For those employee that is truly hardworking, really solving problems, live their life with good values, but less visibility and never know how to polish shoes...they become isolated and never deserved a chance ........

Conflicting but very true...What has actually happen to our society become what it is today?

And what is the future I am looking into??

The world can never be fair...

Maybe I should learn to ignore and be more optimistic, like Crayon Shin Chan .. never give up, enjoy life as it is and do whatever you like to do...

Like...invite some frenz for happy hours.. drink some beer..

or relax on the beach on weekends....

Most of all, happy and be contented with your life, whatever it is, you are the owner of your life, and you craft your own life..be it colourful or grey, you decide...

Be like a baby again.........
